A regular table for Dad.
When work ends, or when a wife's calendar goes quiet, the standing plans go with it. We bring them back. We gather four to six retired men who live near each other for a weekly meal. Same restaurant, same morning, same guys. One email to join. No app, no profile.
Joining is free, always. Each man pays for his own breakfast or lunch, on a separate check. Public restaurants only. Nobody gets emailed until they confirm.
SEPARATE CHECKS
Email from Table for Dad
Hi Walt. Breakfast Thursday at 8am at Parkside Diner, with 4 other retired guys who live nearby. Same table every week.
Yes, I'll be there
How a table gets set
- 1He or his family fills out a short form: where he lives, what he's into, restaurants he likes, mornings he's free.
- 2He confirms by email. We wait until four to six men near each other are ready.
- 3He gets one email with the restaurant and time. One click says yes. Each man pays for his own meal.
- 4Same group every week. If it's not the right fit, one click switches him to another group.
Why it works
- The same faces every week turn strangers into friends.
- The family does the signing up, so Dad doesn't have to admit anything.
- Not the right fit? He can switch groups, pause, or leave at any time.
Ground rules
- Public restaurants only, never anyone's home.
- Always a group of four to six. Never one-on-one.
- Everyone pays for their own meal, on separate checks.
- We email a man only after he, or his family on his behalf, confirms.
- We never sell or share your information. Delete it any time.
